Job summary

LS Automotive India is seeking an AUTOSAR (BSW) software engineer to configure and integrate modules, and to develop AUTOSAR functions for vehicle electronics. You will help connect the application layer to the vehicle network (CAN, LIN, Diagnostics, OBD) and ensure proper architecture and documentation across projects.

The role requires collaboration with HQ Korea R&D and adherence to ASPICE processes; knowledge of automotive standards and C language experience are valued as pluses.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive standards (e.g., communication, diagnostics, electromagnetics, environment, functional safety, cybersecurity) is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple departments is a plus.
• Experience developing projects in C language is a plus.
• Mass production experience is an added advantage.
• Korean language skills are a plus.
• Overseas and domestic travel should be available.

Responsibilities

• Configure and integrate AUTOSAR (BSW) software.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• The AUTOSAR (BSW) SW team is part of the R&D department that develops the S/W of electronic devices installed in the vehicle.
• Perform configuration and integration in the AUTOSAR (BSW).
• It will be responsible for the configuration and development of the AUTOSAR module.
• Responsible for overall architecture, design, documentation and implementation of AUTOSAR functions.
• We build the underlying software that connects the application to the vehicle network (CAN, LIN, Diagnostics, OBD...),
• In addition, you should be able to implement all the functions of AUTOSAR.
• Vector AUTOSAR and HKMC Mobilgene are used. The experience of using either is a prerequisite.
• Most of the projects are carried out in collaboration with HQ Korea R&D department. (System Evaluation Team, Platform Development Team, Functional Safety and ASPICE Process Team) Our project development process is based on ASPICE.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Knowledge of automotive standards (e.g. communication, diagnosis, hardware electromagnetic compatibility, environment, functional safety, cybersecurity) would be a plus; Strong interpersonal relationships and active thinking are a plus.
• Ability to collaborate skill with multiple departments is a plus.
• If you have any experience in developing projects in C language is a plus.
• And if it's mass production, an additional plus.
• Good having Korean language skills is plus.
• Overseas business trips and domestic business trips should be available.
