Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in India seeks an EMC Test Engineer to manage EMC test setups and perform emission and immunity tests per automotive and international standards.

You will configure DUTs, execute tests, generate reports, and ensure calibration and documentation are up-to-date, using CAN/LIN/FlexRay knowledge and hardware debugging skills.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing ISO/IEC 17025 processes for testing labs.
• Strong knowledge of automotive EMC standards and fundamentals.
• Hands-on EMC emission and immunity testing experience.
• Ability to configure test setups and troubleshoot issues.
• Familiarity with CAN/LIN/FlexRay communication protocols.
• Hardware debugging and soldering basics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain EMC test setups (ALSE, BCI, TPAV, ESD).
• Conduct EMC emission and immunity testing per standards.
• Configure DUTs, run tests, and ensure fault-free environments.
• Generate test reports and analyze results.
• Verify calibration status of instruments and accessories.
• Perform intermediate checks and maintenance of test equipment.
• Troubleshoot EMC test setup issues.
• Support EMC project leads in test execution and reports.
