UST in Bengaluru is seeking an EMC Testing Engineer for a fixed-price Managed Service engagement from June 2026 to June 2028. The role focuses on setting up EMC test setups, executing tests per test plans, and reporting results.
You will handle calibrations, instrument checks, and troubleshooting of EMC test setups, with hands-on knowledge of RF instrumentation like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers. Interactions span across hardware teams and OEM standards.

Sl.No Requirements Description Skill set 1 EMC Testing Preparation of setup according to the setup document Testing according to Test Plan / test specification Report preparation Maintenance of setup, DUT, accessories, and peripherals All the above activity must be performed in any of the BGSW shift planning (Morning, Night, Late Night shift) Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 processes Hands on Knowledge of automotive EMC standards and sound knowledge on EMC Basics Basic communication skills Basic soldering skills Good knowledge on Hardware (Passive and Active components - RF, Digital and Analog) Overview of RF instrumentation - Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzer /EMI receivers etc. Able to interpret Standards/OEM specifications. Overview in conducting EMC tests. Basic understanding to troubleshoot and resolve EMC test setup issues.

Proper handling/usage/ storing of device under test, instruments, and accessories. Verification of Calibration reports and communicate to Calibration responsible if any no-conformance is observed. Intermediate performance check of instruments and accessories and report preparation Verification of instruments in accordance with stated method and procedure and report preparation Maintenance of test setups Support EMC PR in completion of test reports
