Job summary

Integel Institute Of Technology Tamil Nadu is seeking a skilled automation engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright. You will build scalable frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine test scenarios.

The role requires hands-on experience with testing frameworks (NUnit/MSTest/xUnit) and version control, plus familiarity with REST API testing and Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright
• Build and enhance scalable, reusable automation frameworks (Page Object Model / BDD, etc.)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitHub Actions)
• Perform API automation testing using RestSharp (or similar tools) good to have
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to identify test scenarios and edge cases
• Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and report defects clearly
• Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts

Required Skills :

• Strong programming experience in C#
• Hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver
• Practical experience with Playwright for web automation
• Solid understanding of OOPs concepts, design patterns, and automation framework design
• Experience with NUnit / MSTest / xUnit for test execution and assertions
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies
