Job summary

Expleo is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to drive testing for sustain engineering efforts and ensure product quality. The role focuses on developing and executing exploratory and automated tests, reviewing requirements, and tracking quality metrics.

You will design tests, implement automation scripts, and collaborate with developers and product managers to meet customer needs and ensure smooth releases across web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA experience in software testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium.
• Competent in designing test plans and test cases.
• Experience with agile development processes.
• Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking.
• Knowledge of mobile testing (Android/iOS).
• Understanding of SDLC and QA metrics.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet customer needs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

Job Description:

• The QA Automation Engineer will be focused on testing large sustain engineering efforts that extend the life of our current platform.


• We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.


• QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)


• Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

Skills:

• 4+ years of work experience in software quality assurance


• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools processes and development cycles


• Hands on experience in Playwright and Selenium.


• Expertise Tests and quality in agile method


• Experience in testing web application and mobile application (Android/iOS )


• Good knowledge on Java and have Technical knowledge of web (JS, CSS, debugging tools, etc.) and applications (Android Studio, etc.)


• Hands-on experience in automating scripts using Selenium/playwright.


• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases, test script


• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, Bonus: GIT, GitLab, Kibana


• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus


• Experience with SDLC tracking tools e.g. Jira


• Experience with, Accessibility, SEO concepts


• Continuous Integration experience (Android Studio, XCode server, Fastlane, Jenkins)


• Problem solving skills


• Excellent time management skills
