Job summary

DevLabs Alliance seeks an experienced Automation Test Engineer in India to drive automated testing across web applications. You will leverage Selenium WebDriver with Java and Playwright, build robust automation frameworks, and support API validation in a CI/CD-enabled environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of TestNG/JUnit/Cucumber, POM design, and cross-browser testing, contributing to quality delivery in an Agile setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java and Playwright
• Experience with API testing using Postman/Rest Assured or similar
• Strong understanding of test frameworks like TestNG/JUnit/Cucumber
• Experience designing automation frameworks and reusable components
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
• Knowledge of XPath/CSS selectors, waits, and dynamic elements
• Experience with cross-browser UI automation and SQL validation

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver with Java and/or Playwright.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools like TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber BDD, or similar frameworks.
• Create reusable automation components using Page Object Model (POM).
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Analyze requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and automation strategies.
• Perform UI automation testing across multiple browsers and platforms.
• Perform API testing and automation using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
• Identify, debug, and resolve automation script failures.
• Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Maintain automation code repositories using Git.
• Generate and analyze automation execution reports.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
