Job summary

fulcrumdigital is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to design and maintain Playwright-based test suites using .NET/C#. You will contribute to scalable automation frameworks and ensure quality across multiple browsers. The role involves CI/CD integration, defect tracking in Azure DevOps, and collaboration with Agile teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Playwright, C#, and API tests, and can work effectively in a fast-paced development environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Playwright with .NET/C#.
• Experience building scalable test frameworks and reusable components.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with .NET.
• Build and enhance framework components (Page Object Model, reusable utilities).
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub).
• Conduct cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, WebKit.
• Perform regression and functional testing; collaborate with QA and dev teams.
• Log, track, and manage defects in Azure DevOps.

Automation Test Engineer – Playwright .NET / C#

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Automation Development: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with .NET.
2. Framework Design: Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, reusable components).
3. CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Commands).
4. Cross-Browser Testing: Execute tests across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit browsers.
5. Regression & Functional Testing: Ensure coverage of critical workflows and validate new features.
6. Defect Tracking: Report, track, and collaborate on defects using Azure DevOps.
7. Agile Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
