Job summary

Schneider Electric in India (Hyderabad) seeks an experienced professional for Industrial Automation of machinery. You will lead PLC/HMI/SCADA work, robotics and vision tasks across design, assembly and process teams to realize complete automation solutions.

The role requires 8–11 years in manufacturing/automation, familiarity with safety, risk assessment, and diverse control hardware and protocols. On-site work with strict quality targets is expected.

Qualifications

• 8–11 years in manufacturing/automation environments.
• General manufacturing processes in Electrical/Auto/Auto auxiliary Industry.
• Experience with machine building in automotive or related fields.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA programming (SFC, Ladder, ST).
• Familiar with laser marking, robotics, vision inspection and testing.
• Experience with safety reviews, risk assessments and poke-yoke.
• Knowledge of multiple communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, TCP/IP).
• Experience with Schneider PLC/HMI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Realize industrial automation of machines per safety, quality, cost and delivery.
• Lead parameter setting on test benches to deliver quality product.
• Collaborate with Design, Assembly, Process teams to implement PLC, HMI, vision, robotics.
• Load, test, prove-out, and qualify testers/machines.
• Install, commission and qualify at Schneider plants or suppliers.
• Prepare documentation and hand over machines to the relevant departments.
• Monitor performance and achieve KPI targets for machines.
• Drive corrective actions during observation period.
• Provide technical support to resolve issues on running machines.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Realize the Industrial Automation of the machine as per the technical files meeting the Safety , Quality , Cost and Delivery
• Lead the parameter setting activity in the test benches to deliver quality product.
• Interact with all stakeholders Design ,Assembly , Process teams to understand the technical needs and realize PLC, HMI, Vision, Robot Offline & Online Programming.
• Load ,test , Prove-out, Qualify the Testers /machines.
• Installation and commissioning and qualification at Schneider Plants, Supplier if needed.
• Complete the required documentation and handover the machines to the respective departments.
• Monitor the performance & Achieve Target KPI for the machines.
• During the observation period and lead the corrective actions
• Offer technical support to resolve problems in running machines.

Requirement:

Education: Bachelors / Diploma EEE / EC/ Mechatronics/Industrial Automation

Job Related Experience: 8 to 11 Years

Business Understanding:

General manufacturing processes in Electrical/Auto/Auto auxiliary Industry, Machine

Assembly knowledge

Manufacturing Industry and Discrete line experience is must.

Industry experience like Machine builder, Automobile, Auto accessories, Switch gear, manufacturing,

• Experience Standard PLC interface DFB for Manual/ Auto/Semi-Auto Station
• Experience Standard Manual Assembly Station PLC Template handling.
• Experience in Cycle time study and line balancing.
• Experience in validation of Machine Risk Assessment, Safety circuit and poke yoke.
• Experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA, Analog modules, different communication protocols. Prefer to have Schneider PLC & HMI experience.
• Experience in Schneider PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming SFC, Ladder, Structure text.
• Experience in handling Industrial elements: Laser marking, Robotics, Vision inspection, Scanning, Product testing, Torquing, Sensors, Assembly Poka-yoke, Servo drives, welding controller, Load cell LVDT, Power source, printers.
• Experience in Communication Protocols Serial, Modbus, Profibus, TCPIP, FTP, Ethernet IP.
• Test machine PLC&HMI/PC Programming & Debugging
• Manual assembly station hardware integration/debugging in PLC (sensor, screwdriver, scanner.) & HMI.
• MES Qualification
• Technical recipe, Rework Management, Golden Dummy Sample
• Experience in Applications, Electrical circuit, Mechanical, Pneumatic & Hydraulics.
