Deutsche Bank in Pune is seeking an Automation QA Test Engineer to design and implement automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs and microservices. The role requires hands-on expertise with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress, strong programming skills in Java, Python or JavaScript, and experience with API testing tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing of enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test scripting.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Karate.
• Familiarity with OAuth2/SAML/OpenID Connect flows and federated identity systems is a plus.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and coverage goals.
• Develop and execute end-to-end, regression, performance, and security tests.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain test data, environments, and reusable components for scalable automation.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and internationalization standards.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation and quality assurance.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency.
