Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in Pune invites an Automation Lead with strong embedded experience and control engineering background. You will drive requirements-based testing, model-based development, and CI-driven automation across MiL and system-level ECU testing.

The role requires expertise in Python, MATLAB, CAN/UDS, and related tools, plus leadership and client handling abilities to coordinate with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review and understand system and software requirements.

Job description

Automation Lead

1. Review and understand system, software requirements.

2. Identify test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.

3. skilled in model-based development, requirements-based testing, and the integration of automated tests into continuous integration environments.

4. Perform MiL, System -level testing for ECUs

5. Validate software using test automation tools and scripting.

6. Develop test scripts for automated testing (Python, , MATLAB, etc.).

7. The role aligns with internal MiL/SiL testing approaches and toolchains based on TPT and MATLAB/Simulink

8. Verification and validation of embedded software

9. Automation and control system testing

10. Embedded systems development and integration

11. Requirements-based testing and traceability

12. Regression testing, defect analysis, and root cause investigation

13. Continuous Integration (CI) and automated test execution

14. Collaboration within agile and V-model development environments

Strongly looking for someone who have good embedded exp with some level of control engineering background

1. Python Automation-Expertise
2. Core Embedded Experience in Motor Control(BLDC/PMSM), Microcontrollers etc.
3. Team leading experience and client handling experience

Mandatory skills & competencies:

Education: BE Computer / Software

Experience Level: 10+ Years

Software Tools: TPT (Time Partition Testing), MATLAB, Windchill RV&S, Azure Devops, Git, Python.

Good to have Skills & competencies

1. Required Knowledge on CAN, UDS and Modbus Protocol.

2. Ability to develop Test cases and understanding requirement document.

3. Ability to Defect identification and Test report development.

4. Basic understanding of Object-oriented Programming (OOPs) in Python.

5. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
