Job summary

CitiusTech Inc is seeking an experienced Manual Test Engineer to validate backend, API, database, and system testing for Medical Device connected software applications. The role focuses on end-to-end workflows, backend services, APIs, databases, and device integrations to ensure high product quality.

Responsibilities include creating and executing test cases, performing functional, integration, system and regression testing, and developing test plans and reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Manual Testing, Backend Testing, API Testing, and SQL Validation.
• Experience with EMR systems and healthcare/software.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience testing enterprise, healthcare, or connected software systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and backend testing.
• Develop and review test plans, test cases, verification procedures, and test reports.
• Perform defect reporting and verification of bug fixes.
• Validate workflows across web, mobile, cloud, and connected device ecosystems.
• Execute API testing using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and other API validation tools.

Must-Have Skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience testing Connected Devices, IoT or medical devices.
• Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• API Automation using REST Assured, Python, Robot Framework, or similar tools.
• Experience with ADO/Polarion or similar ALM tools.
