Job summary

Roboyo is seeking an Automation Engineer (Automation Anywhere) to join our Managed Services team in Hyderabad on a hybrid basis. You will focus on production support, incident management, and continuous improvements across the automation lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of hands-on RPA/automation experience, with Automation Anywhere and bot development for attended and unattended scenarios. Strong analytical skills and client-focused communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in RPA/automation development and support.
• Experience with Automation Anywhere.
• Experience building attended and unattended bots.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end automation lifecycle.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP), JSON.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• OCR/IDP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt ticket follow-up and resolution of L2 issues within SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor bot performance and identify issues or improvements.
• Handle change requests, enhancements, and bug fixes for existing automations.
• Collaborate with L1 support and development teams on challenging tech problems.
• Coordinate operations and maintenance for large client accounts.
• Test and optimize automation solutions for performance and scalability.
• Apply best practices for developing automation solutions.
• Provide clear communication to end-users and stakeholders about resolutions.
• Assist during onboarding and service transition for clients.

General: Responsibilities and tasks for this role

• Coordinate operations and maintenance activities for large client accounts
• Test andoptimiseautomation solutions for performance, scalability, and reusability.
• Apply and further develop best practices for developing automation solutions
• Provide clear and concise communication to end-users and stakeholdersregardingissue resolutions and maintenance schedules
• Consult,provideexpertise, guidance, and participation during the Onboarding and Service Transition of clients

Must-have qualifications & competencies

• Minimum of2-4years of experience in RPA/automation development and support.
• Experience with Automation Anywhere.
• Experience building attended and unattended bots.
• Good understanding of end-to-end automation lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Experience with RPA;anyadditionalOCR/IDP knowledge is a big plus
• Good communicationskills and social competence for strong customer relationshipswith the ability to work effectively,independently,and in a team environment.
• Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP), JSON
• Experience in web, desktop,SAPand Excel automation.

Nice to have qualifications & competencies

• Experience withPower Automate,UiPath
• Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, VBScript, or similar scripting languages
• Experience with AI/IDP tools (e.g., Document Automation, AI Builder)
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, or ITIL-based service management practices
