Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and create technical docs.
• On-site work in Nagpur with cross-functional teams.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Automation Engineer role based in Nagpur. The Automation Engineer will design, develop, and implement automation systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and programming PLCs, HMIs, and related control systems and ensuring seamless communication between devices and supervisory systems. The role involves diagnosing and resolving automation and electrical issues, performing system testing and commissioning at customer sites, and preparing technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and reports. The Automation Engineer will collaborate with design, production, and service teams, support preventive maintenance plans, and assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Process Control.
• Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering knowledge
• Candidates should possess practical abilities in Troubleshooting of control systems and electrical faults.
• Proficiency in Schneider/Honeywell/Emerson/Siemens PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming and configuration.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols and safety standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to read and create electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site and with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in industrial automation or panel manufacturing is an advantage.
