Job summary

Real REMAX Group is hiring an AI and Automation Engineer to design and scale automation across operations, HR, marketing, and other business functions. You will take processes from idea to production and own them end-to-end, building production automations with n8n and custom code.

The role emphasizes AI-powered workflows, REST API development, and multi-cloud experience, with a focus on data integrity, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Python development.
• Experience building and testing REST APIs and backend services.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining browser automation and web scraping scripts.
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Experience building production-grade AI agents across multiple frameworks and model providers.
• Professional experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience using Datadog for logging, analytics, and observability.
• Experience using PagerDuty for alerting and incident response.
• Experience managing multi-step projects with changing priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

The AI and Automation Engineer will play a central role in how Real REMAX builds, tests, and scales automation across operations, HR, marketing, and other business functions. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with hands‑on experience in automation development, systems integration, and applied AI who can take a process from idea to production and own it end to end. What You’ll Do:

• Work with stakeholders to understand current workflows and automation needs

• Identify and prioritize high‑value automation opportunities

• Own long‑term automation initiatives from discovery through production

• Navigate ambiguity to establish approved access to unfamiliar platforms and systems

• Design, build, and deploy production automations using n8n and custom code

• Build AI‑powered automations using models and platforms from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and other leading providers

• Build and test PostgreSQL data pipelines that process production events

• Validate data integrity across connected systems and platforms

• Maintain automation architecture across development, staging, and production environments

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions

• Monitor workflow performance, reliability, throughput, cost, and business outcomes

• Participate in the on‑call rotation and respond to production incidents

• Identify the root causes of recurring failures and implement lasting fixes

• Research new automation platforms, AI capabilities, integration patterns, and tools

• Partner with internal audit teams to assess automated processes for security, data, quality, and compliance

What You’ll Bring:

• Hands‑on experience with low‑code or no‑code platforms, such as n8n or Zapier

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python

• Experience building and testing REST APIs and backend services

• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining browser automation and web scraping scripts.

• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases

• Experience building production‑grade AI agents across multiple frameworks and model

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Hands‑on experience supporting GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar compliance
