Job summary

FinacPlus is hiring a hands-on Automation Engineer (3–5 years) to build production-grade test automation frameworks for enterprise mortgage platforms. You will shape architecture across UI, API and service layers in a cloud-native, microservices environment.

This is not execution-only QA; you will own the framework, drive shift-left quality, and collaborate with frontend, product teams, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are hiring a hands-on Automation Engineer (3–5 years) to build and scale production-grade test automation frameworks for enterprise mortgage platforms.

This role is not execution-only QA —it requires engineering depth, framework ownership, and system-level thinking . You will design and drive automation architecture across UI, API, and service layers , ensuring reliability of high-volume, workflow-driven financial systems .

You will work closely with engineering teams to enable shift-left quality, continuous testing, and production stability in a cloud-native, microservices environment .

• Working knowledge of Playwright CLI/MCP and a foundational understanding of how AI/LLM models work, to effectively use AI-assisted automation tooling.
• Design modular, reusable, and maintainable automation architecture (POM, fixtures, service abstractions, utilities)
• Automate complex, real-world workflows across mortgage lifecycle:
• Customer onboarding
• Loan lifecycle events
• Enable continuous testing and fast feedback loops
• Build and maintain:
• UI regression suites
• Integration/E2E test coverage
• Improve test reliability and execution performance :
• Parallel execution
• Flaky test reduction
• Smart test selection strategies
• Validate fixes at system level
• Collaborate with:
