Job summary

Nable Solutions in Bengaluru is seeking a QA Automation/Testing professional to participate in feature and regression testing, and to begin developing automated tests for existing functionality.

You will work with the team to maintain test documentation, execute automated tests, analyze results, and assist developers with bug reproduction and root-cause analysis, while growing your automation skills in a collaborative environment.

Position Overview & Objective

The Automation/QE applies basic skills and knowledge to deliver routine activities within testing and automation. The role conducts necessary manual checks with assistance from senior team members and develops automated tests for existing functionality and frameworks.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participates in feature and regression testing to ensure timely delivery of outputs.
• Determines appropriate techniques for testing features based on best practices to ensure high-quality testing.
• Organises and maintains high-quality test documentation to keep the quality.
• Develops automated tests according to established quality standards under minimal supervision.
• Executes automated tests and analyzes the results.
• Maintains development/test infrastructure to ensure operability.
• Assists developers with bug reproduction and root-cause analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)

• Good knowledge of the theory of testing and automation
• Intermediate skill level in Test Automation
• Understanding of Web technologies: HTML, CSS, XML, JSON
• Experience developing End-to-End and API-automated tests
• Experience in writing code with the languages used for testing in the team, e.g. C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, Java, Python, Groovy, Go
• Experience with API testing and associated tools
• Experience with scripting (bash)
• Experience with dev tools in the browser
• Experience working with relational Databases and SQL
• Experience with Source Control tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins
• Experience with Agile
• Excellent communication skills
