Job summary

DHL Group is hiring for a full-time Finance Services position in APAC, Chennai. The role focuses on developing and maintaining data-driven finance dashboards and automation using Power BI, Power Query, Excel and the Microsoft Power Platform.

You will work with automation tools like UiPath and BPM/Bizagi in an agile setting. You will collaborate with finance professionals to optimize processes, ensure data integrity, and drive digital transformation across our shared service center in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business IT or computer science.
• Three+ years of digitization or IT-related project experience.
• Experience with data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data-driven solutions using Power BI, Power Query and Excel.
• Design dashboards, reports, and data models for finance processes.
• Develop Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint) to automate processes.
• Collaborate with process analysts and project managers in agile teams.
• Monitor automations, maintain master data in TM1, and troubleshoot issues.

We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Chennai, India.

Job Purpose:

The BPO team within Finance Operations drives key initiatives across three core areas:

• Strategic finance projects in collaboration with all DHL Group divisions.
• Process optimization initiatives that enhance efficiency within the Finance Operations division.
• Digitalization projects aimed at modernizing and transforming Finance Operations.

Your tasks:

• In your central role in the Shared Service Center, you will primarily focus on developing and maintaining data-driven solutions using Microsoft Power BI, Power Query and Excel. You will design and optimize dashboards, reports and data models to provide actionable insights for our finance-critical processes. Beyond reporting-centric tasks, you will actively develop new solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint to automate processes and create innovative applications that drive digital transformation. Depending on the needs of the projects, these solutions could also combine state-of-the-art technologies such as RPA/UiPath, BPM/Bizagi, OCR/Abbyy or Microsoft Azure.
• You will work closely with our customers and colleagues, ensuring the smooth functionality and optimization of these essential systems to ensure our high standards of reliability and efficiency. You will be responsible for multiple operating tasks, which include monitoring of automations and systems, maintenance of master data in TM1, execution of upload processes and troubleshooting.
• You will also take on your own development projects in your role and the continuous improvement of processes and applications.
• You will design process automation solutions in close coordination with our process analysts, automation architects and project managers, working in an agile setup. A regular exchange with other experts in the field of digitalization and business process optimization offers you the opportunity to develop and implement best practices, thus contributing to the harmonization and standardization of our processes.

Your profile:

• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong expertise in Power BI and data transformation using Power Query and Excel, combined with very good knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint for developing and automating business solutions.
• Desirable knowledge: Dataverse, Power Apps Portals, Power Pages, Azure Functions and WebApps
• Knowledge and experience in automation, accounting, process analysis and optimization and service management desirable
• Programming skills in an application-oriented programming language are desirable
• You are a creative and responsible team player
• You have strong analytical and conceptual skills, enjoy attention to detail and proactively solving challenges and enjoy working independently with a focus on results

Education Level

• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in (business) computer science

Experience Level

• At least three years of professional experience in digitization or IT-related projects
