Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to improve and troubleshoot control systems for efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Design and develop advanced control systems using PLCs and HMIs for our manufacturing equipment.
• Write, test, and debug PLC code to ensure reliable operation.
• Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of control systems to minimize downtime.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation and implement viable solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and operating manuals.
• Provide training and support to operators and maintenance teams on control system operation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure all control systems comply with safety regulations and quality standards.

The purpose of the Production Control Engineer optimizes equipment and process performance to support efficient, high-quality in Li-Ion cell production. They resolve issues, drive improvements, and minimize downtime, ensuring a reliable and adaptive manufacturing environment.

Job Description:

• Control System Enhancement and Troubleshooting: Lead efforts to improve and troubleshoot existing control systems, focusing on enhancing efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Future System Design: Collaborate on the design and development of advanced control systems using PLCs and HMI systems for both our existing and upcoming manufacturing equipment.
• Programming Proficiency: Exhibit mastery in writing, testing, and debugging PLC code to guarantee the efficient and secure functioning of our machinery.
• Maintenance Excellence: Execute regular maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of control systems to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
• Continuous Enhancement: Identify and champion opportunities for process optimization and automation improvements, presenting and implementing viable solutions.
• Meticulous Documentation: Develop and maintain thorough documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and comprehensive operating manuals.
• Skill Transfer: Provide comprehensive training and support to operators and maintenance teams on control system operation and effective troubleshooting techniques.
