Job summary

Radancy is seeking an Automation & AI Engineer to build, maintain, and extend AI agents and automation solutions. You will integrate agents with internal systems via Power Automate, REST APIs, and cloud endpoints, grounding responses in knowledge sources and ensuring reliability across environments.

You will work independently on scoped deliverables, contribute to architectural standards, and support citizen developers while adhering to security and governance practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software development with a track record of shipping independent solutions.
• 2+ years coding in at least one general-purpose language, able to read/write/debug code.
• Working proficiency with Git and the software application lifecycle (branching, environments, testing, deployment).
• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate) or comparable automation/orchestration platform, and a willingness to go deep on Copilot Studio.
• Solid grasp of integration standards (REST APIs, OAuth2, API keys) and security patterns.
• Experience using an AI assistant (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, M365 Copilot) in real work.

About the Role

As an Automation & AI Engineer, you will build, maintain, and extend Radancy’s portfolio of AI agents and automation solutions. This is a hands-on delivery role: you take agent concepts and integration requirements from architecture into working, production-grade solutions.

You work alongside the Senior Automation & AI Architect, who owns platform strategy, standards, and infrastructure. You turn those standards into shipped agents. That means connecting Microsoft Copilot Studio agents to internal knowledge sources and business systems, and growing the reach of the existing agent portfolio (e.g. Solution 360, QBR, Knowledge Transfer, and Media ROI agents).

This is not a junior role. You are expected to work independently on scoped deliverables, make sound technical decisions within agreed standards, and raise issues before they become blockers.

What does a great AI Engineer do?

• Build and maintain AI agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio (and Agent Builder), configuring instructions, knowledge sources, actions/tools, and generative orchestration
• Develop and maintain integrations and custom connectors that ground agents in, and act on, internal and third‑party systems, via Power Automate, custom connectors (classic & MCP), MS Graph, REST/APIs, and backing services (e.g. BigQuery, Cloud Functions, or other cloud/on‑prem endpoints as needed)
• Curate and ground agents on knowledge sources so answers are accurate, scoped, and traceable to their source
• Extend existing production agents with new capabilities, data sources, and integrations while preserving reliability and backward compatibility
• Follow the established deployment workflow, using version control in Git and CI/CD via GitHub Actions, and help keep pipelines and environments healthy
• Test, debug, and monitor agents across environments; investigate failures and regressions and drive them to resolution
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation for the agents and integrations you build
• Contribute to architectural standards and best practices as a practitioner, surfacing what works and what doesn`t from day‑to‑day delivery
• Provide hands‑on support to citizen developers building their own agents and automations, and help triage the issues they run into
• Adhere to security and governance standards (environment separation, access controls, secret handling, documentation)

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software development, systems integration, or automation engineering, with a track record of shipping working solutions independently
• 2+ years of real coding experience in at least one general-purpose language, comfortable reading, writing, and debugging code, not exclusively low-code/no-code
• Working proficiency with Git and a solid grasp of the application lifecycle (branching, environments, testing, deployment)
• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate) or a comparable automation/orchestration platform (e.g. n8n), and a willingness to go deep on Copilot Studio
• Solid grasp of integration standards (classic REST APIs and AI-native MCP), including the auth patterns that come with them (OAuth2, service principals / app registrations, API keys)
• Prior hands-on use of an AI assistant (Claude, GitHub Copilot, M365 Copilot, or equivalent) in real work, including grounding agents on knowledge and a mindset for judging output quality
