Job summary

Quest Global in India is seeking a Junior AutoCAD Drafter to prepare and update 2D drawings and layouts for industrial projects. The role involves accurate drafting and collaboration with engineers.

You will read P&ID and PFD drawings, coordinate revisions, and maintain drawing records. A Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical engineering with 6 months to 1 year of AutoCAD experience is required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must read and interpret P&ID and PFD drawings.
• Hands-on drafting experience with AutoCAD 6 months to 1 year.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update 2D AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and detail drawings.
• Support industrial engineering projects with accurate drafting work.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update 2D AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and detail drawings
• Support industrial engineering projects with accurate drafting work
• Interpret and work with engineering drawings, including P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and PFD (Process Flow Diagrams)
• Coordinate revisions with project engineers and maintain drawing records

Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Diploma Mechanical
• 6m to 1 year of hands-on experience with AutoCAD
• Must be able to read and understand P&ID and PFD drawings
• Basic understanding of mechanical/piping components
• Good communication and documentation skills
