Position Overview

As a Taxation & Auditing Research Intern, the Exchange Participant will be part of a specialized, research-oriented program focused on developing expertise in income tax, GST, auditing, and corporate taxation. Key activities include supporting research in tax computations and filing processes, assisting in the study of internal and external audit procedures, analysing financial records for compliance within a research framework, and contributing to projects related to business tax planning and regulatory adherence.

• Assisting in research on the preparation and filing processes of income tax and GST returns
• Supporting tax calculations and documentation analysis for individuals and businesses within a research framework
• Assisting in the study and evaluation of internal and external audit processes
• Reviewing financial records to analyze compliance with tax laws and regulatory standards
• Supporting research in business tax planning and financial strategy development
• Assisting in the analysis of GST filings, e‑filing procedures, and reconciliation processes
• Researching updates in taxation laws and regulatory changes for academic and practical insights
• Preparing audit reports, tax summaries, and compliance documentation as part of research activities
• Analyzing financial data to identify potential tax optimization strategies
• Collaborating on taxation and auditing research projects and case studies
