Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Audit & Assurance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee multiple audit engagements, manage client relationships, and lead a team of professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring that audits are executed effectively and efficiently, providing strategic insights to clients, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. As a key leader in the firm, you will have the opportunity to shape audit strategies, mentor junior staff, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients of variable sizes across different industries aligned with onshore team expectations
• Proactively manage client expectations and be point‑of‑contact for clients and onshore team
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
• Understand client expectations, timelines, and deliverables
• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously and ensure adherence to SLAs
• Complete assignments within agreed budgets and timescales and identify opportunities for additional billings
• Identify opportunities to expand scope and improve service delivery
• Lead teams on the planning, execution, and completion of audits
• Ensure deliverables meet US auditing standards and firm‑specific requirements
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinate closely with onshore teams to ensure smooth engagement execution
• Conduct detailed reviews and provide structured, constructive feedback
• Ensure assignments are staffed with the appropriate mix of knowledge and skills required
• Provide technical auditing and accounting assistance to team members and clients
• Participate in the coaching, mentoring and appraisal of staff
• Ensure audit engagements comply with firm‑wide quality standards and regulatory expectations
• Foster a strong culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Manage and coordinate the pitch/proposals for new work
• Work as part of the management team and participate in firm initiatives (Quality improvement, training, resource planning, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with onshore teams across time zones
• Drive standardization, documentation, and process efficiencies

Requirements

Qualifications:

CA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent

Experience:

• 6-10 years of experience in audit and assurance services
• Prior experience working with US CPA firms or offshore audit support engagements strongly preferred
• Can demonstrate strong technical auditing and accounting skills, including knowledge of the ISAs and accounting standards IFRS and US GAAP
• Experience with audit tools (e.g., CaseWare, CCH, or similar)
• Proven management skills and behaviours
• Understands the operational aspects of managing an audit team and be accountable for results
• Experience in challenging management, including experience in managing difficult conversations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Adaptable to change
