Synergy Marine Group is seeking an experienced Superintendent - Assurance to join our Group QHSE team. The role involves conducting vessel and office audits, leading incident investigations, and coaching teams on Safety Management Systems (SMS).

Located in India with potential travel to Singapore, this position requires candidates with strong maritime audit expertise and a minimum of 24 months sailing experience in a senior rank. This is a pathway into senior QHSE or Superintendent positions.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Superintendent - Assurance to join our Group QHSE team and strengthen our global assurance and safety framework.

• Conduct vessel & office audits to ensure regulatory and operational compliance
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Coach shipboard teams on Safety Management Systems (SMS) and best practices
• Support vessels in preparing for inspections (PSC, Flag, Class, RightShip, DBMS)
• Drive continuous improvement in safety culture and operational excellence

Location: India / Singapore (with global travel)
