Job summary

PwC Gurgaon is seeking a Senior Associate for our actuarial services team. You will analyse and manage financial risks for clients using statistical modelling and data analysis, delivering insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.

You will work on building strong client relationships, developing technical expertise, and guiding colleagues through complex scenarios while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics or statistics.
• Actuarial exams: pursuing Membership/Associateship with 8 exams minimum.
• Work experience: 3+ years in relevant field.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools: Python/SQL/R/SAS, Tableau/Power BI/QuickSight, VBA.

Requirements

Bachelors in finance/Economics/Mathematics/Statistics (B. Com, B.A(Economics) B.Sc. with Economics / Mathematics / Statistics Hons) with

focus on actuarial methods and principals along with following certifications/ degree:

• Actively pursuing Membership / Associateship of the Institute andFaculty of Actuaries / Institute of Actuaries of India (or equivalent)with a minimum of 8 Actuarial Exams
• Certification requirement may be waived if the candidate has moreexperience in the relevant field
• Work experience required- 3 years and above
• Advance knowledge on Microsoft Office especially Excel
• An additional knowledge of either of the following would be preferred:
• Data Analytics – Python, SQL, R, SAS
• Visualization Tools (Tableau, Power BI, Quick Sight)
• VBA programming
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
• Commitment to continuous training and to proactively learn new processes
