Diageo in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Quality professional with 4–7 years in Food technology/chemical engineering from FMCG & Beverage. You will support regional quality governance, monitor site performance, and drive food safety standards across multiple manufacturing sites.

Qualified candidates hold a BSc/MSc in Food Tech, Biochemistry, or Chemistry BE/BTech/MTech in Food Tech and will apply problem‑solving tools (5 Why, DMAIC, RCA) to resolve issues and implement CAPA for sustained improvements.

Formación

• BSc/MSc in Food Technology or related field.
• Biochemistry knowledge is desirable.
• Chemistry/B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Food Technology required.

Responsabilidades

• Regional Quality Governance: support and govern Quality and Food Safety standards across manufacturing sites; monitor KPIs and drive regional quality initiatives.
• Quality Performance & Data Analytics: analyze regional quality data, consumer complaints, deviations, audits; develop dashboards and reports for regional reviews.
• Problem Solving, RCA & CAPA: lead investigations; use tools like 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, DMAIC; ensure CAPA effectiveness.
• Quality Systems, Food Safety & Compliance: support audits, maintain systems, manage changes, risk assessment, and deviation processes.
• Site Support & Quality Improvement: conduct assessments and support sites in quality maturity.

About the Function:

Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world. With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships. Key Responsibilities

• A. Regional Quality Governance Support implementation and governance of Quality and Food Safety standards across assigned manufacturing sites. Monitor and review site Quality performance against defined regional KPIs, standards, and objectives. Support periodic Quality performance reviews with Unit Quality and manufacturing leadership teams. Support deployment of Regional and Corporate Quality initiatives at site level.
• B. Quality Performance & Data Analytics Analyse regional Quality data, consumer complaints, deviations, audit findings, process performance, and Quality KPIs. Develop and maintain appropriate dashboards, reports, and management summaries for Regional Quality reviews. Use data and trend analysis to identify emerging risks and prioritise improvement opportunities. Track Quality improvement plans and evaluate the effectiveness and sustainability of actions.
• C. Problem Solving, RCA & CAPA Support and lead investigations of significant or recurring Quality issues across manufacturing sites. Facilitate structured problem-solving using appropriate tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, DMAIC, Pareto, and CAPA. Review CAPA effectiveness and challenge inadequate or ineffective actions. Identify opportunities to replicate successful corrective actions across other sites.
• D. Quality Systems, Food Safety & Compliance Support implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems. Provide guidance to Unit Quality teams on Quality standards, procedures, regulatory requirements, and system expectations. Support internal, external, certification, customer, and corporate Quality audits. Monitor audit findings, action plans, closure, and effectiveness. Support Management of Change, risk assessment, deviation management, and Quality incident processes. Identify systemic compliance gaps and drive regional improvement actions.
• E. Site Support & Quality Improvement Conduct periodic Quality assessments and site visits to evaluate Quality system effectiveness and implementation. Support sites in improving Quality maturity and capability.
• F. Consumer & Market Quality Support investigation and resolution of significant market and consumer Quality complaints. Analyse market/retail Quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and potential systemic risks. Ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented for market Quality issues.
