Job summary

Designation:Legal Receivables officer

Office Location:PAN India

Position description: Responsible for managing recovery process legally for the NPA cases by initiating and legal formalities and disposing the possessed properties ensuring collection

Primary Responsibilities:

• Legal proceedings and MIS management
• Managing all NPA cases for the assigned zone/region by initiating necessary legal action in line with SARFAESI act
• Coordinating with legal, branch and recovery team to continuously assess the status and executing the legal orders
• Closely working with the legal team for status updation and clarifications
• Representing the company in courts during the legal proceedings
• Supporting legal team to customize legal documentations for various states
• Working with legal team for making amendments in the legal policy basis the changes in the central/state legal policies periodically
• Ensuring possession of property is competed and completion of all related legal proceedings and documentation
• Completing documentation related to attachment of property
• Identifying buyers for the possessed property and coordinate with them for the sale process completion
• Coordinate with technical team for possessed property valuation and use the valuation for the selling purposes
• Completing all sale related proceedings with the buyer and ensuring collection is completed
• Preparing and sharing MIS related to legal cases status, checklists, compliance issues etc
• Participating in review meetings periodically to understand the legal proceeding status and guidance for performance improvement from the manager
• Building and maintaining cordial relationships with legal authorities, police force etc
