Job summary

Hexr Factory, a next-generation immersive tech studio, is seeking an Associate Video Editor to transform raw footage into polished final videos across educational, promotional and short-form content.

You will work with footage, animatics, voice-overs, music and graphics, building clear pacing and visual storytelling while ensuring accuracy in edits, color, audio and delivery formats. Hindi and English VO-led content experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional video-editing experience with a strong, relevant portfolio.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with Adobe After Effects for basic motion graphics.
• Strong judgement in pacing, continuity, visual storytelling, and audio sync.
• Editing Hindi and English voice-over-led content; capable of identifying subtitle, spelling and sync issues.
• Familiar with colour correction, audio clean-up, exports and delivery specifications.
• Strong file organisation, version-control habits and ability to take structured feedback.
• Experience in animation, VFX, 3D/cinematic, e-learning or content-production pipelines is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Edit story-driven, educational, promotional and short-form video content from first assembly to final delivery.
• Work with raw footage, animatic outputs, cinematic renders, voice-overs, music, sound effects, subtitles and on-screen graphics.
• Build clear pacing, continuity, visual storytelling and emotional tone while synchronising visuals, narration and music.
• Handle animatic edits, 3D cinematic edits, correction passes, and final delivery edits.
• Perform colour correction, basic grading, audio cleanup, transitions, titling and subtitles.
• Maintain version control, project-file organisation, correction logs, approvals and delivery deadlines across edits.
• Check final outputs for black frames, audio or subtitle mismatch, spelling errors, missing assets, render glitches and export issues.
• Deliver correct resolution, aspect ratio, codec and platform format.
• Collaborate with creative leads, storyboard/animatic artists, 3D/cinematic teams, production coordinators and QA.
• Support cutdowns, trailers, promos, shorts and alternate-format exports as required.

Role: Associate Video Editor

We are looking for a strong hands-on editor who can take raw footage, animatics, cinematic renders, voice-overs, music and graphics through to polished final videos. The role suits someone with solid narrative editing judgement, strong finishing discipline and the ability to manage correction-heavy production work without losing track of quality or versions.

• Edit story-driven, educational, promotional and short-form video content from first assembly to final delivery.
• Work with raw footage, animatic outputs, cinematic renders, voice-overs, music, sound effects, subtitles and on-screen graphics.
• Build clear pacing, continuity, visual storytelling and emotional tone while accurately synchronising visuals, narration, dialogue and music.
• Handle animatic edits, 3D cinematic edits, correction passes, and final delivery edits.
• Perform colour correction, basic grading, audio cleanup, transitions, titling, subtitles, lower-thirds and basic motion-graphics work.
• Maintain version control, project-file organisation, correction logs, approvals and delivery deadlines across multiple edits.
• Check final outputs for black frames, audio or subtitle mismatch, spelling errors, incorrect cuts, missing assets, render glitches and export issues.
• Deliver the correct resolution, aspect ratio, codec, naming convention and platform format every time.
• Work closely with creative leads, storyboard and animatic artists, 3D/cinematic teams, production coordinators and QA.
• Support cutdowns, trailers, promos, shorts and alternate-format exports when required.

What We Need

• 3–5 years of professional video-editing experience with a strong, relevant portfolio.
• Strong working ability in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, plus Adobe After Effects for basic motion graphics, compositing or text animation.
• Good judgement in pacing, continuity, visual storytelling, audio sync and edit rhythm.
• Comfortable editing Hindi and English voice-over-led content; able to identify obvious subtitle, spelling and sync issues.
• Familiar with colour correction, audio clean-up, codecs, exports and delivery specifications.
• Strong file organisation, version-control habits and ability to take structured feedback.
• Experience in animation, VFX, 3D/cinematic, e-learning or content-production pipelines is an advantage.
