Job summary

Crownstone LLP is seeking a senior structural design leader to oversee the Structural Design function across ongoing developments in India. You will define standards, governance, and drive innovations in systems, materials, and construction methods.

You will collaborate with Architecture, MEP, BIM, and project teams to ensure safe, cost-effective, and constructible solutions, while supporting feasibility and business development from a structural perspective.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• M.Tech/M.E. in Structural Engineering preferred.
• 15–20+ years of experience in structural design and engineering.
• Experience with high-rise residential and township projects.
• Strong exposure to consultant management and multi-project leadership.

Job description

• Support project feasibility, master planning, and business development initiatives from a structural engineering perspective.
• Drive innovation in structural systems, materials, and construction methodologies.

Design Management

• Review and approve conceptual, schematic, detailed, and construction-stage structural designs.
• Ensure optimum structural solutions balancing safety, quality, cost, and constructability.
• Lead technical reviews and design audits at key project milestones.
• Evaluate and approve alternative structural systems and engineering proposals.
• Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize structural quantities, construction methodologies, and project costs.
• Benchmark projects against industry best practices and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Support procurement and contracting teams on structural technical matters.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Architecture, MEP, Façade, BIM, Construction, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
• Ensure seamless integration of structural designs with other disciplines.
• Provide technical leadership and support to project execution teams during construction.

Qualifications
