Job summary

Weaver India is seeking a financial due diligence professional to support engagements with private equity and strategic clients. You will analyze complex data, build initial analyses in Excel, and prepare schedules and drafts for client deliverables.

The role emphasizes quality control, collaboration with US offices, and maintaining compliance with internal policies. A CA or accounting background with 1–2+ years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
• Chartered Accountancy course as regulated by ICAI or equivalent preferred.
• CA preferred, with 1–2+ years’ experience in Financial due diligence / Audit & Accounting or related.

Responsibilities

• Track received documents against information requests and build initial analysis from source documents.
• Ensure analyses meet quality standards and are reconciled to source documents.
• Prepare agendas and initial schedules to share with target.
• Assist in identifying deal issues and adjustments impacting the report.
• Draft portions of client deliverables and maintain schedules and exhibits.

Position Summary

Performs responsibilities as assigned on engagements and helps with any other duties necessary to complete a financial due diligence services engagement. Due diligence requires analysis of complex and often voluminous information and must result in clear and concise reporting for the intended readers.

This opportunity provides an excellent platform for a qualified candidate to develop technical skills surrounding change of control events such as refinancing, acquisitions, mergers, etc. in service to our private equity and strategic clients. The Weaver transaction team has more than 30 years of combined deal experience in the Dallas transaction market (U.S.A.). We perform financial diligence projects for clients in locations throughout the U.S.A. and overseas. The transaction group possesses a proven client service model to include training and career development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Core competency is the demonstrated ability to carry out the primary responsibilities of the job which should be reflected in the essential duties section of the job description.

Specific Tasks

• Tracks received documents against information request
• Building initial analysis from source documents
• Understand the level of quality and deliverable expectations for analyses (i.e., formatting, layout, accuracy, etc.)
• Manipulate multiple source data documents using Excel skills to efficiently and accurately build out analysis
• Prepare and track the initial and follow up documentation request lists
• Responsible for completing all analyses and ensuring all necessary schedules and exhibits presented exceed Weaver quality standards and are reconciled to source documents
• Assist in in preparing agendas and initial schedules to share with target
• Assist in identifying deal issues and other adjustments impacting the report
• Drafting certain portions of client deliverables

Corporate Compliance Responsibilities

Understands and adheres to the policies and procedures compliance standards as set forth by Weaver and Tidwell India, LLP[VR1.1]. Ensure that the staff are trained and evaluated on their knowledge of and adherence to compliance policies and procedures specific to their jobs.

Education
