Job summary

Quality Engineering is looking for a candidate experienced in validating and testing trading APIs, focusing on TCP Sockets and FIX Protocols. Responsibilities include developing test cases, validating API endpoints, and performing end-to-end microservices testing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Equity, Derivatives, and Trade life cycles, along with experience in stress testing through APIs.

Responsibilities

• Experience in validating TCP Socket based proprietary trading and trading data APIs including order placement and execution.
• Experience in testing FIX API for trading interfaces and order management workflows.
• Good understanding of Equity, Derivatives, and Trade life cycle processes.
• Create detailed test cases and matrix documents from API specifications.
• Validate endpoints, payloads, response codes, and data headers manually.
• Perform end-to-end testing of interconnected microservices.
• Work with developers to isolate bugs and clarify requirements.
• Experience in Stress testing through APIs.

• Experience in testing FIX API to validate and test trading interfaces, order management workflows, and market connectivity solutions based on the FIX Protocol.
• Good understanding of Equity, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, and Trade life cycle processes
• Create detailed test cases and matrix documents from API specifications.
• Validate endpoints, payloads, response codes, and data headers manually.
• Perform end-to-end testing of interconnected microservices and third‑party workflows.
• Work with developers to isolate bugs and clarify technical requirements.
• Experience in Stress testing through API’s
