Job summary

Welocalize, Inc. is seeking an Associate Test Engineer in Gurgaon to assist in designing and executing test plans. You will contribute to ensuring software quality by performing functional, regression and system-level testing with minimal supervision.

The role requires 1–2 years of testing experience, familiarity with defect tracking tools, and basic scripting knowledge (Python/VBA). This is a full-time onsite position based in Gurgaon, India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field required.
• 1–2 years of software testing experience preferred.
• Proficient with defect tracking tools and test management systems.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python or VBA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test cases from project requirements.
• Identify, document and track defects using defect tracking tools.
• Perform functional, regression and system-level testing with minimal supervision.
• Assist in test planning and create test scenarios from requirements.
• Coordinate with developers to communicate defects and support debugging.
• Maintain QA procedures per client/project and ensure testing progress.
