Job summary

Merkle is seeking a Lead Developer/Engineer in Mumbai to drive backend systems with 8–12 years of experience. You will design, implement, and optimize RESTful services using Node.js and related tech while coordinating with cross-functional teams and clients.

The role requires strong data modeling, API security, and proficiency in Git, CI/CD, and modern frontend basics (HTML/CSS/JS, Vue.js). Expect Agile/Scrum collaboration in a permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of professional software development experience with backend focus.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js and Perl.
• Strong experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Database expertise in SQL and/or NoSQL.
• Understanding of system architecture and design principles.

Responsibilities
