Job summary

Arcadis seeks an Associate Technical Director to lead the Water team in India, with work across Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, or Noida. You will guide a large multidisciplinary team on complex projects for the United Kingdom and Ireland region, ensuring delivery within time, budget and safety constraints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of experience in Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Chartered under Engineering Council such as ICE, UK or IStructE, UK.
• Leadership experience in development and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Project management experience in a project management role.

Responsibilities

• Provide techno-managerial leadership to the Structural team in India.
• Lead a large discipline team delivering multidisciplinary complex projects.
• Support the GEC Capability Lead and Discipline Director to achieve targets and growth.
• Establish relationships with senior staff, owning delivery and technical capabilities.
• Support on bid proposals and new pursuits.
• Drive creativity and adoption of new digital technologies.
• Mentor team leads to ensure high quality and safe design practices.
• Manage delivery of tasks per Arcadis Management Systems to meet time, quality, budget and safety targets.
• Promote best delivery practices and share them with teams.
• Create clear roles and responsibilities and empower the team to achieve 100% quality.
• Take responsibility for financial and quality performance of projects at discipline level.
• Motivate the team to explore new digital technologies and implementations.
• Assess overall health of the discipline team and identify gaps and solutions.
• Promote regional and global business culture.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure design integrity.
• Build industry profile and stay current with innovations.
• Ensure compliance with Arcadis business management system.
• Drive Health and Safety culture within the team.
• Perform other duties as required.

Role Accountabilities

• Provide techno-managerial leadership support to the Structural team based in India.

• Experience with BIM/ACC.
• Deep understanding of future trends and technologies.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong, self-motivated, and assertive, capable of working under pressure.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and effective communication at all levels.
• Flexibility to adopt new work or challenges as per business requirements.
