Job summary

Harmonic is seeking an Associate SW Development Engineer for a hybrid role in Bangalore. You will develop software features for embedded systems and work on debugging complex cross-layer issues reported by QA and customers, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes.

Ideal candidates have a BE in Electronics & Communications or CS with high marks, strong C/C++ skills, knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking, Linux, and scripting.

Qualifications

• BE in Electronics & Communications or Computer Science with 85% or 8.5 CGPA
• No current backlogs, no repeat year or gap in studies
• Excellent C/C programming
• Knowledge in Layer 2/3 networking protocols
• Linux knowledge – advantage
• Scripting tools/languages (Perl, Python, Bash, etc.) – advantage
• High level of interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different groups.
• Fluent English (writing and speaking)

Hybrid role – working 3-4 days a week from our office in Bangalore.
