Job summary

KONE in Chennai is seeking an Associate Supply Manager with 5–8 years of experience in mechanical or electrical domains. You will ensure that material deliverables are on time, profitable, high quality, and meet customer expectations.

Your main responsibilities include managing design quality planning, sourcing and logistics planning, supply chain scheduling, and coordinating with global stakeholders to drive project success and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in supply chain or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a global matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure material deliverables are on time, profitable, high quality, and meet customer expectations.
• Manage supply project design quality planning, sourcing planning and logistics planning.
• Coordinate supply chain scheduling across KONE and manage project variations and scope.
• Communicate with FL and internal/external stakeholders and resolve deviations.
• Support for supply line claims and handling transfer prices with FL.
• Facilitate change management activities related to projects.

Designation: Associate Supply Manager

Total Experience: 5-8 Years

Qualification: University degree (B.E) in Mechanical or Electrical.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will ensure that material deliverables are on time, profitable, high quality, and meets customer expectations. A collaborative and customer-focused way of working together with our sales companies (Front line) is your way to successful project execution.

Your main responsibilities:

• Using a feasible solution to complete the supply project safely, on time and within budget.
• Verify the received order information, steering order bound engineering and confirming the order to FL.
• Manage project design quality planning, sourcing planning and logistics planning.
• Supply chain scheduling across KONE.
• Supply project variation and scope management.
• Receiving and processing clarification requests from FL, involving internal and external interest groups if necessary
• Effective collaboration and communication with and between all stakeholders
• Composing, collecting and distributing necessary technical information to FL.
• Informing FL about any deviations in delivery operations.
• Providing support for Supply Line claims.
• Making sourcing decisions for main components.
• Confirming material delivery times and transfer prices to FL
• Identifying and facilitating project related change management activities.

• Good business negotiation & communication skills and able to professionally interact with Global stake holders, presentation skills are an asset.
• Good IT skills, e.g. in MS Office tools, SAP skills are an asset.
• Good spoken and written in English is a must, other languages are seen as a benefit.
• Willingness to travel worldwide and flexibility in working times due to time difference between global projects functions.
• Working knowledge in any project management tools/ MS-projects
• Project management experience will be added advantage.
• Elevator / Escalator technical competences are a benefit
