Responsibilities

• Ensure material deliverables are on time, profitable, high quality, and meet customer expectations.
• Verify received order information and steer order-bound engineering to FL.
• Manage project design quality planning, sourcing and logistics planning.
• Schedule supply chain activities across KONE and manage scope changes.
• Handle clarification requests from FL and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders; share technical information as needed.
• Inform FL about deviations in delivery operations and support supply line claims.
• Make sourcing decisions for main components and confirm material delivery times.

Associate Supply Manager

Location : GEC, KTEC, Chennai

Designation : Associate Supply Manager

Total Experience : 5-8 Years

Qualification: University degree (B.E) in Mechanical or Electrical.

Job Summary: In this role, you will ensure that material deliverables are on time, profitable, high quality, and meets customer expectations. A collaborative and customer-focused way of working together with our sales companies (Front line) is your way to successful project execution.

Your main responsibilities:

• Using a feasible solution to complete the supply project safely, on time and within budget.
• Verify the received order information, steering order bound engineering and confirming the order to FL.
• Manage project design quality planning, sourcing planning and logistics planning.
• Supply chain scheduling across KONE.
• Supply project variation and scope management.
• Receiving and processing clarification requests from FL, involving internal and external interest groups if necessary
• Effective collaboration and communication with and between all stakeholders
• Composing, collecting and distributing necessary technical information to FL.
• Informing FL about any deviations in delivery operations.
• Providing support for Supply Line claims.
• Making sourcing decisions for main components.
• Confirming material delivery times and transfer prices to FL
• Identifying and facilitating project related change management activities.

• Good spoken and written in English is a must, other languages are seen as a benefit.
• Willingness to travel worldwide and flexibility in working times due to time difference between global projects functions.
• Working knowledge in any project management tools/ MS-projects
• Project management experience will be added advantage.
• Elevator / Escalator technical competences are a benefit
