Job summary

Hrhelpdesk in India is seeking an Associate for the Investment Banking team to support buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions and deliver strategic insights to clients.

You will participate in deal execution, perform financial statement analysis, build financial models and valuation analyses, and prepare sections of information memorandums. Excellent communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-Graduate in Finance required.
• 2-5 years of front-end client facing experience in deal advisory (M&A, JV, PE funding) preferred.
• Knowledge of valuation methods: DCF, CCM and CTM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research ability for industry insights.

Job Summary

The Associate will play a key role in supporting the organization's mission to deliver exceptional client service and strategic insights. This position involves assisting clients with buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions as part of the Investment Banking team.

Responsibilities

• M&A deal execution - financial statement analysis, preparation of financial model and business valuation through various methods such DCF, comparable transactions multiples (Comps) and comparable companies multiples (Precedents)
• Research to make long list of potential targets / investors and establishing initial contacts and coordination between all stakeholders in deal execution
• Preparation of parts of or complete IMs including company/business overview, industry overview and financial analysis; PowerPoint skills preferred

Requirements

• The person should be a Post-Graduate (Finance)
• Relevant 2-5 years of front-end client facing experience in deal advisory - supporting team for M&A, JV, PE funding etc, (Backend experience can be considered depending upon the client)
• Business Valuation - DCF, CCM and CTM
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of conducting open ended secondary research to garner industry specific insights
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and using PowerPoint, Excel and Word is essential
• Developed inter-personal skills, team orientation, and professional attitude.
• Self-motivated and with an ability to operate with limited supervision
• Accounting knowledge and financial analysis skills
• Working knowledge of CapIQ etc preferred
