Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of procurement/sourcing experience, strong MS Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP Ariba or similar tools. Travel up to 10% and on-site work at data centers are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 2–4 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in construction or client fit-out projects.
• Strong MS Excel and familiarity with procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba).

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and procurement for client fit-out projects, including vendor identification, RFQs, and bid analysis.
• Maintain records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance, operations to align sourcing with timelines and budgets.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.
• Support cost optimization initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Your role at a glance

The Associate Specialist, Sourcing – DC Ops is responsible for supporting procurement and sourcing activities related to client fit-out projects within the Finance Transformation and Procurement business unit. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, compliance with company standards, and timely delivery of materials and services required for the Operations Team.

KEY responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and procurement for client fit-out projects, including vendor identification, RFQs, and bid analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (project managers, finance, operations) to align sourcing strategies with project timelines and budgets.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.
• Support cost optimization initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and sustainability standards.

KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

Strong understanding of procurement principles and sourcing strategies. Familiarity with construction or fit‑out materials and vendor landscape. Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba or similar). Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Good communication and negotiation skills.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Preferred: Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 2–4 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in construction or client fit‑out projects.
• Exposure to vendor management and contract administration.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly moves equipment and other hardware up to 25 lbs.
• Frequently move about inside and outside of data center / facility.
• Remain stationary for long periods of time.
• Ascend / Descend a ladder and perform duties atop a raised platform.
• Position self in small spaces.
• Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.
• Perform work during US business hours and time zones.

Work conditions & other requirements

• Work onsite at a data center location.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and loud noises.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Travel required 10% of time.
• Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection.
