Job summary

3M is seeking a motivated Finance Analyst to join the Bangalore Finance team. You will lead FP&A reporting for orders, sales, EBITDA, and budgets, and collaborate across functions to deliver actionable analytics that drive financial performance.

The role requires an MBA in Finance or CMA/CA, 4–6 years FP&A experience, and strong Excel/Power BI skills. Hybrid work location in Hebbal, Bangalore, with cross-functional exposure and opportunities to automate and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A reporting and analysis for Orders, Sales, Gross Margin, OPEX, forecasts, and budgets.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports with insights on drivers, risks, opportunities, FX, and macro trends.
• Track key metrics such as Organic Sales Growth, EBITDA, backlog, takt time, Gross-to-Net Sales, AR, DSO, DIO, cash flow, and inventory.
• Perform variance analysis for R&D and SG&A, and develop dashboards and reports for sales, orders, and inventory performance.
• Partner with finance leaders and FP&A teams to standardize reporting, enhance analytics, and drive automation and process improvements.

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• MBA in Finance or a professional qualification such as CMA or CA.
• Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant FP&A work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficient in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint, with knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis tools.
