Job summary

Priceline is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Mumbai to join our Product Operating Model team. You will develop high-quality software, own features end-to-end, and collaborate with Product Managers and Architects in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You’ll work on high-performance Java services, practice TDD, and contribute to scalable solutions with CI and automation. The role requires Microservices experience and a strong alignment with Priceline values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in software engineering and development.
• Strong coding experience with Java.
• Thorough SQL composition skills for queries and analysis.
• Comfort with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Experience in Microservices is a MUST.
• Demonstrated alignment with Priceline values: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability, Trust.

Responsibilities

• Participate in mission-critical projects with direct impact on Priceline's business.

As an Associate Software Engineer in the Product Operating Model (POM), your focus is on building high-quality, reliable, and scalable software that delivers business value. You are accountable for owning development, optimization, and automation activities; writing clean and maintainable code; practicing test-driven development; and collaborating closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and fellow Developers. You contribute to solution design, ensure adherence to engineering best practices, and take ownership of features from development through testing and delivery.

Who Are You—
