Job summary

Sandisk in Bengaluru seeks a senior software engineering leader to set directions for cross‑platform development across mobile and desktop apps. You will design scalable architectures, build robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and mentor engineers to uphold engineering excellence.

You will collaborate with product and design, own end‑to‑end processes, and champion modern development practices to keep Sandisk at the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading cross-platform development for mobile and desktop apps.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate technical direction for development initiatives across mobile and desktop platforms.
• Design and implement architectures and best practices for iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS apps.
• Lead the development and maintenance of robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure (GitHub Actions).
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers to foster technical excellence.
• Establish and enforce development standards and architectural patterns across platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to identify risks early and prevent issues.
• Own end-to-end development processes from architecture to deployment and monitoring.
• Drive adoption of modern development methodologies and tools to stay competitive.
• Conduct code reviews and architecture assessments to maintain high quality.
• Contribute to technical culture by sharing knowledge and establishing standards.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and communicate technical direction for development initiatives across mobile and desktop platforms, ensuring alignment with company objectives and engineering excellence standards
• Design and implement comprehensive development architectures, frameworks, and best practices that span iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS applications
• Lead the development and maintenance of robust CI/CD pipelines and development infrastructure, leveraging tools such as GitHub Actionsto enable rapid, reliable feature releases
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, code quality, and continuous learning within the development team
• Establish and enforce development best practices, code quality standards, and architectural patterns across all platforms, ensuring consistency and scalability
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to identify technical risks early and implement proactive measures to prevent production issues
• Own end-to-end development processes, from architecture and implementation through code review, deployment, and production monitoring
• Drive the adoption of modern development methodologies, tools, and technologies to keep the development ecosystem current and competitive
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews and architectural assessments to maintain high standards of software design and system reliability
• Contribute to technical culture by sharing knowledge, establishing engineering standards, and championing best practices across the organization

Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BE, BTech) or Master's degree (MTech) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
