Job summary

WebMD, LLC. in Navi Mumbai is seeking a hands-on QA engineer to ensure the quality of web-based technologies. You will test across functional, integration, API, performance, and load scenarios and help shape test artifacts for ongoing projects.

The role requires familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser compatibility, plus experience with issue tracking tools and building test plans when development docs are minimal.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA experience with web-based technologies.
• Proficient in web-based, n-tier software testing and API testing.
• Experience with functional, compatibility, integration, recovery, load and stress testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web development languages.

• Familiarity with major browsers and device testing.

Position Requirement:

• Hands-on experience with software quality assurance experience in web- based technologies
• Proficient in web-based, n-tier software testing, API Testing
• Experience with functional, compatibility, integration, recovery, code coverage, load, performance, and stress testing
• Good understanding of the SDLC and multiple software engineering and testing methodologies
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
• Experience gathering testing requirements for projects with minimal development documentation and creating the test artifacts for the same
• Familiarity with popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and device application testing
• Familiarity with issue tracking tools (JIRA, YouTrack, Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.)
