Job summary

Space Matrix is seeking an Interior Designer – Workplace to join our design studio in managing corporate/interior projects from concept to execution. You will develop innovative design concepts, lead client presentations, and oversee project coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidates will have 6-8 years in Commercial/Coworking/Office interiors, strong design sense, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in Commercial interior / Corporate Interiors/ Workplace design and team management.
• Strong design sensibility and ability to develop a project from concept to execution.
• Team player with a positive attitude to go the extra mile.
• Excellent knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup and Photoshop

Responsibilities

• Strategize and develop design solutions that align with programs, budgets, and client objectives.
• Lead and manage multiple projects, including feasibility studies and defining design requirements.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure project progression, quality, budget, and schedule integrity.
• Lead client meetings and presentations, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Oversee design management and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Conduct quality control reviews of design documentation and monitor deliverables.
• Participate in client work sessions and design reviews to incorporate feedback into project development.
• Travel as needed for project presentations, coordination meetings, and site visits.

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer – Workplace to join our design studio. In this role, you will focus on designing corporate/workplace interior projects. Working closely with the design team, you will be responsible for developing innovative design concepts, leading client presentations and pitches, and overseeing design management and project coordination to ensure successful delivery.

• Strategize and develop design solutions that align with assigned programs, budgets, and client objectives.
• Manage and contribute to multiple projects, including pre-design services such as feasibility studies and defining design requirements.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure smooth progression of projects from one phase to the next, maintaining quality, budget, and schedule integrity.
• Lead and participate in project meetings and client presentations, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Oversee design management and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders as required.
• Conduct quality control reviews of design documentation and monitor project team deliverables to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Participate in client work sessions and design reviews to incorporate feedback into project development.
• Travel as needed for project presentations, coordination meetings, and site visits.

• You have 6-8 years of relevant experience of working on Commercial interior / Corporate Interiors/Workplace design projects & managing a team
• You have a strong design sensibility and the technical ability to develop a project from concept to execution.
• You are a team player with a positive attitude to go the extra mile
• You have multi-tasking ability, with time management and organizational skills.
• You have a registered Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• You have an excellent knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup and Photoshop
