Job summary

Siemens in Bangalore is seeking an Associate Scrum Master to guide agile teams in delivering software products. You will oversee sprint planning, backlog management, and cross-team coordination, ensuring adherence to development and PLM processes.

The role requires 7–10 years of software development experience, strong knowledge of Angular, JavaScript and HTML5, plus CI/CD, TDD/BDD, and excellent collaboration skills. On-site position with a dynamic international team.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc with strong academics.
• 7–10 years in software development and delivery roles.
• Knowledge of Angular, JavaScript, HTML5 and web app development; CI/CD experience.
• Experience with TDD/BDD and quality-focused practices.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Takt Team in Product Creation Team and cross-team discussions.
• Ensure the team follows defined development and PLM processes.
• Moderate sprint planning and estimation meetings.
• Maintain and prioritize the team backlog in alignment with the Product Owner.
• Keep the team focused on sprint objectives and takt goals.
• Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and team meetings.
• Coordinate work-package creation and ensure team commitment to sprint goals.
• Support problem-solving and remove impediments affecting team progress.
• Escalate risks, issues, and resource constraints with mitigation measures.
• Synchronize with other teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies.
• Track sprint execution, progress, and delivery commitments

• We are looking for Engineering degree B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc with good academic record and 7 to 10 years of demonstrable experience in software development.
• Having knowledge in Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, Web Application Development would be advantage.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices is highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
