Job summary

Lennox India Technology Centre (LITC) in Chennai is seeking a SAP EWM consultant to leverage strong knowledge in Extended Warehouse Management and procurement domains. The role requires collaboration with global teams and experience with SAP EWM modules.

The candidate will work 5 days a week from the office in Chennai, including shifts from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and engage in process analysis, data mining, and cross-functional coordination with FI, SD, PP, TM, MM, and IBP teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP EWM module.
• Experience with S/4HANA MM & TM.
• ABAP knowledge desirable but not required.
• Strong communication and coordination with global teams.
• Willing to work in Chennai office 5 days a week and in shift (1:00 PM–10:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Functional Process Knowledge in Procurement and Extended Warehouse Management.
• Conducts business process analysis and cost/benefit analysis to align IT solutions with business initiatives.
• Prioritizes requests and coordinates with IT Delivery for planning IT resources.
• Formulates system scope under supervision and supports design solutions.
• Analyzes business transactional data to identify issues and improvements.
• Collaborates with US-based business counterparts and conducts remote requirements sessions.
• Strong knowledge of Extended Warehouse Management processes and hands-on SAP EWM experience.
• Interfaces with ABAP team for bug fixes/RICEFW developments and ensures SLA compliance.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Functional Process Knowledge in Procurement process and Extended warehouse management.
• Conducts business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analysis in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
• Prioritizes requests and works with IT Delivery group for planning and scheduling of IT resources.
• Under supervision formulates and defines system scope and objectives to develop or modify information systems. Competent to work on most phases of application system analysis and design activities. Prepares charts and diagrams to support problem and/or design solution documentation.
• Capability to mine and analyze business transactional data to identify/quantify business and/or systems issues.
• Prior experience working with US Based business counterparts
• Experience in conducting remote business requirements sessions
• Strong functional process knowledge on Extended Warehouse Management process
• Hands on experience working on SAP EWM module.

Preferred candidate profile

Nice to Have :

• Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics processes.

Hands-on experience with:

• Warehouse Structure (Storage types, Sections, Bins)
• RF Framework & Configuration
• Queue Monitoring & Error Resolution
• Post-processing Framework (PPF)
• EWM ERP integration
• Work with interfaces such as IDoc, qRFC monitoring, CIF issues.
• Work closely with ABAP team for bug fixes/RICEFW developments.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and change requests within SLA.
• Perform detailed root cause analysis for problem tickets and implement permanent fixes.
• Analyze and implement small enhancements and change requests.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (FI, SD, PP, TM, MM, IBP)
• Good communication skills for working with business users and global teams
• Willing to work from Office 5 Days a week
• Willing to work in Shift ( 1.00 PM to 10.00 PM)

Need to Have

• Understanding of SAP ABAP programming language is desirable but not required
• Experience in S/4HANA MM & TM (added advantage).
• Excellent critical thinking aptitude
• Experience working with other integration platforms like GIS, SAP PI/PO is a plus
