Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an EHS IT Analyst, based in Navi Mumbai (India). IT Analyst will be a member of the Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) Information Technology team, responsible for delivering SAP platform solutions that enhance the current Environmental, Health and Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) business processes and support Dow’s Digital Sustainability Strategy and Ambitions. The successful candidate will provide SAP EHS technical and functional expertise, knowledge, and support for EHS & Sustainability functions and projects, including Joint Ventures, Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Capital Investments and Small projects. The IT Analyst will perform SAP EHS configuration, troubleshooting, support and work with a multi-disciplinary IT team, Business Partners, and functions to develop, deliver, and maintain EHS innovative digital solutions and capabilities. The focus will be on SAP platform and customer/employee experience, simplification, automation, efficiency, and reliability, to accelerate Dow’s digital transformation.
Support to key SAP EHS Processes including Incident Management, Waste Management, Environmental Management, EHSM, Report Shipping, Product Safety, SDS Distribution, Dangerous Goods Management, Substance Volume Tracking, etc. Should have knowledge of SAP EHS data model - Basic Data and Tools, Property Tree, Phrase Management, VAT, Class, Characteristics etc. Understanding of SAP Interfaces, IDocs, and ALE. Knowledge of implementing ERC Updates from 3E. Good to have Knowledge of Expert Rule & OCC (Open Content Connector). Knowledge of WWI Template Creation, Modification and overall working of WWI servers. Ensure that functional and technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term product/system vision. Assist in collaborating with business process teams, technical teams, and other stakeholders to design and build SAP objects that meet business requirements. Participate in the development of implementation approach and strategy, and cutover plans for the EHS&S business process area.
SAP knowledge, specifically in EHS – Environment, Health, and Safety Management. Knowledge and experience with EHS and Sustainability processes and technologies. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, related IT field, or EHS&S area. 3+ years of work experience. Advanced English Level Skills.
Basic Understanding of other SAP modules and how they integrate with SAP EHS functionality is a plus. Nice to have knowledge of UN GHS; and CLP, REACH, dangerous goods regulations, and regulatory compliance is beneficial. Background in SAP supply chain and/or Manufacturing is a plus. Basic understanding of EHS Product Compliance and regional regulatory requirements. Familiarity with S/4 HANA migration projects is a plus. Artificial Intelligence (AI) knowledge would be a plus.
The ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with international time zones is essential.
