Job summary

ABB Motion in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of small projects with low complexity. You will define and apply basic scheduling techniques to proactively manage schedule risks and ensure activities align with procedures and standards.

The role reports to the Service Operations Manager and requires on-site work with 20% travel, based in Bangalore-Nelmangala. You will oversee project teams, monitoring progress, resources, and financials while driving contract

Qualifications

• Full Time BE or B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in project management.
• PM Certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage project risks and pursue opportunities.

This Position reports to:

Service Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of small projects with low complexity. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining and applying basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively.

This role is contributing to the Motion business based at Bangalore, India:

• Leading the project team allocated to the project.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
