Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. in Gurgaon seeks an experienced Medical Affairs Project Manager to drive program delivery and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will build relationships with clients and internal teams, define program visions, and oversee milestones, timelines, and budgets to achieve objectives. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree in business or life sciences preferred.
  • 3–4 years of experience in pharma or biotech industries.
  • Must have Japanese language proficiency.
  • Strong project management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Medical Affairs and Medical/Integrated Evidence Plans.

Responsibilities

  • Builds positive working relationships with clients, consulting staff, managers, leadership, and internal support teams.
  • Partners with customer in establishing a vision for the program/portfolio initiative as well as the supporting team and their potential.
  • Demonstrates strong project management skills through proactive management of responsibilities to ensure objectives, milestones, and timelines are met.
  • Provides guidance and oversight to project managers on overall delivery approach.
  • Delivers executive reporting across the program/portfolio.
  • Partners with franchise leads to establish project management needs, priorities, and expectations across assets.
  • Provides direction, guidance, and support to project managers as needed.
  • Provides proper status reporting to project sponsors and leaders to ensure visibility of team delivery.
  • Establishes consistent performance reporting guidelines/templates across franchises.
  • Summarizes complex scientific ideas and data into influential storyboards for business leaders and industry stakeholders.
  • Brings scientific/clinical knowledge, business acumen, and project management experience to provide Medical Affairs insights.
  • Serves as primary source of project communication and reporting.
  • Serves as first point of contact for issues, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensures project is on‑time, in‑scope, within budget, and of high quality.
  • Anticipates risks and eliminates obstacles.
  • Contributes to medical strategic planning to achieve business outcomes.
  • Plans and coordinates activities related to the creation of Medical and Integrated Evidence Plans (IEP).
  • Documents, socializes, and facilitates review of Medical/IEPs with stakeholders.

Qualifications
