Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Networks / Systems Engineering or related discipline is mandatory.
  • Eligibility per UGC/AICTE norms preferred.
  • 5+ years of combined experience in academia, teaching, training, or mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and application-oriented courses in Computer Networks and Systems.
  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students using modern pedagogical approaches.
  • Design and continuously improve curriculum, labs, assignments, and assessments aligned with industry standards.
  • Mentor instructors, teaching assistants, and SMEs and ensure quality across batches.
  • Mentor students for internships, placements, higher education, and research opportunities.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced academic leader for the role of Assistant / Associate Professor – Computer Networks. This role is ideal for educators who combine strong academic foundations with practical industry exposure and are excited about building high-impact learning environments. The selected candidate will play a key role in curriculum delivery, faculty mentoring, student success, and academic innovation in the areas of Computer Networks, Operating Systems, and Systems Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership & Teaching Excellence
  • Deliver engaging and application-oriented courses in Computer Networks and Systems.
  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students using modern pedagogical approaches.
  • Create a strong conceptual foundation while connecting theory with real-world applications.
  • Lead classroom, laboratory, and project-based learning initiatives.
Curriculum Development & Academic Innovation
  • Design and continuously improve curriculum, labs, assignments, and assessments aligned with industry standards.
  • Introduce practical learning experiences, case studies, simulations, and hands-on system-level problem solving.
  • Contribute to accreditation, academic planning, and quality assurance initiatives.
Faculty & Team Leadership
  • Mentor and guide instructors, teaching assistants, and SMEs.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in course delivery across multiple batches/cohorts.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance academic culture.
Student Mentorship & Outcomes
  • Mentor students for internships, placements, higher education, and research opportunities.
  • Support students in interview preparation and real-world problem-solving capabilities.
  • Track student engagement, learning outcomes, and academic progress.
Research & Institutional Contribution
  • Contribute to research, innovation publications, conferences, and institutional initiatives.
  • Participate actively in departmental activities, committees, and strategic academic planning.
  • Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and academic excellence.
Required Qualifications: Educational Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Networks / Systems Engineering or related discipline is Mandatory
  • Consistent academic record with strong subject expertise
  • Eligibility as per UGC/AICTE norms preferred.
Experience
  • 5+ years of combined experience in Academia, teaching, training, or mentoring
  • Prior experience as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Faculty Lead, or Technical Trainer preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge academic concepts with real-world applications and student outcomes preferred
  • Strong industry experience in Networking / Systems / Software Engineering with reputed product-based companies, research organizations, or leading technology institutions will be preferred.
Technical Expertise Required: Strong understanding of
  • OSI & TCP/IP Models
  • TCP, UDP, IP Protocols
  • Firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS
Operating Systems fundamentals
  • Processes
  • Memory Management
  • CPU Scheduling
  • Concurrency

Hands-on experience with:

  • Linux/Unix Systems
  • Shell Scripting
  • Networking tools and troubleshooting
  • System-level problem solving

  • Experience in curriculum design and academic operations
