Responsabilidades

• Teaching: Develop and deliver course material for undergrad/grad students in CSE/IT.
• Mentorship: Supervise graduate students and teaching assistants; guide research projects.
• Curriculum Development: Update curriculum to reflect latest trends in the field.
• Research: Conduct high-quality research, publish papers, and prepare grant proposals.
• Administrative Support: Assist with accreditation requirements and institutional standards.
• Recruitment: Participate in recruiting and mentoring lecturers and teaching assistants; select graduate students.
• Networking & Professional Engagement: Attend events and collaborate with industry experts.
• Seminars & Events: Organize guest lectures and faculty events for student interaction with professionals.
• Leadership: Lead new initiatives and interdisciplinary collaborations across the institute.
• Travel: Be ready to travel to other institutions and industry events.

About the Role

The Professor/Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor [CSE/IT] will contribute to the academic, research, and administrative activities within the department. This includes supervising students, conducting impactful research, and helping lead departmental initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, extensive academic experience, and a commitment to developing innovative teaching methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Teaching: Develop and deliver engaging course material and curriculum for both undergraduate and graduate students in the Cyber Security, AIML, AIDS, or CSE disciplines.
• Mentorship: Supervise and mentor graduate students and teaching assistants. Provide guidance and direction for research and projects.
• Curriculum Development: Assist in designing and updating curriculum and syllabus, keeping up with the latest trends and advancements in the field.
• Research: Conduct high-quality research, publish papers in academic journals, and present findings at conferences. Write research proposals to secure funding for departmental projects.
• Administrative Support: Assist in academic administrative responsibilities required by various accreditation bodies throughout the year. Ensure compliance with institutional standards.
• Recruitment: Participate in recruiting and mentoring new lecturers, professors, and teaching assistants, as well as shortlisting and selecting students for graduate programs.
• Networking & Professional Engagement: Attend academic events, collaborate with field experts, and represent the department at conferences and industry forums.
• Seminars & Events: Organize guest lectures, seminars, and faculty events, enabling students to interact with professionals from the industry.
• Leadership: Lead new initiatives and interdisciplinary collaborations across the institute.
• Travel: Be ready to travel to other academic institutions and industry events to expand networks and gain further experience.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Ph.D. in a Computer Engineering/IT with at least 3 years of experience or cadre approval from any recognized university. B.E./B.Tech. in Computer/IT is madatory.
• Experience: At least 5 - 10 years of experience in teaching or equivalent industrial experience in an academic setting. Proven ability to train students in a comprehensive academic environment.
• Expertise: Strong academic and research background, with expertise in areas such as research, consultancy, patent/product development, or equivalent.
